Please join us in Melbourne in November for the 46th Annual Scientific Meeting of the AAS.

It is with great pleasure that on behalf of Australian Atherosclerosis Society (AAS), we would like to invite you to participate in this meeting.

Monash CBD Conference Centre, 30 Collins Street, Melbourne,

Wednesday November 23 to Friday November 25, 2022

The opportunity to meet face to face with colleagues old and new is one which we value greatly. The last two years have emphasized how enjoyable and stimulating getting together in person to share our research and plans really is.

The meeting will largely comprise of submitted abstracts. Our notable – and many upcoming – members and colleagues have been part of our Scientific Showcase Seminars. This amazing set of presentations ran throughout 2020, 2021 and continues in 2022 with over 90 presentations made or scheduled. All were recorded and are available for revisiting on the AAS members portal.

Members are invited to submit abstracts for oral or mini-oral sessions. The mini-orals will replace traditional poster sessions and will be held in our refreshment room which is also fitted with full AV facilities.

As the program will be largely abstract driven, we strongly encourage all our members (HDR, EMCR and beyond) to submit abstracts for oral or mini-oral sessions. The mini-orals will replace traditional poster sessions and will be held in our refreshment room which is also fitted with full AV facilities. Top ranked abstracts will also be showcased as lead session talks.

A stimulating scientific meeting and plenty of opportunities to network with your colleagues and as well as a great social program will make this meeting memorable.

This is the first meeting organised “by members, for members”. We hope it hits all the right buttons!
Please join us to make this meeting the most successful yet.

We look forward to seeing you in Melbourne.
