 Cardiovascular genomic studies of the ASPREE trial population

 A/Prof Paul Lacaze is the Inaugural Head of Public Health Genomics at Monash University and National Heart Foundation Future Leader Fellow. He established the genomics research program for the ASPREE study, Australia’s largest clinical trial and study of healthy ageing. Lacaze’s research investigates genetic contributions to coronary heart disease risk and resilience.

Cost-Effective Analysis of a Population-Wide Genomic Screening Strategy for Familial Hypercholesterolemia

Zanfina Ademi is Associate Professor of Health Economics and Outcome Research Deputy Director at the Centre of Cardiovascular Research and Education in Therapeutics at Monash University. She specialises in Health Technology Assessments, economic evaluations alongside clinical trials and clinical registries and decision health economic modelling. Zanfina has worked in several universities in Australia, Finland and Switzerland. She has completed a number of funded research projects that provided evidence on cost effectiveness, enabling key decision makers ( payers) to enact effective healthcare funding across the world.
